A few of the questions we've been asked most. If we've missed something, just ask.
- What time should I arrive?
- Please plan to arrive at the ranch by 3:30 PM. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM.
- What's the dress code?
- Ranch formal — think cocktail attire with a country twist. Long dresses, suits (tie or bolo tie optional), and boots are absolutely encouraged. Jeans are a little too casual for this one, and please skip stilettos: the ceremony and dinner hour are on grass.
- Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
- The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner are outdoors under the trees. Bring a layer — Hopland evenings cool off quickly.
- Are kids invited?
- We adore your little ones, but we've chosen to keep the celebration adults-only so everyone (including the parents) can fully relax. Please let us know if you need help arranging a sitter at your hotel.
- Is there parking at the ranch?
- There is no parking at the ranch. Complimentary shuttles are required and will run between the Thatcher Hotel, some nearby hotels, and the ranch before the ceremony, then continue in loops during dancing for anyone who wants to depart early. We will share the completed schedule closer to the date.
- When does the reception end?
- The party officially ends at 12:00 AM. Shuttles will run back to the Thatcher Hotel and some nearby hotels during dancing.
- What's the weather like in May?
- May in Hopland is usually gorgeous — sunny and mid-70s during the day, dropping into the 50s at night. A wrap or light jacket for the evening is a good call.

- How do I rsvp?
- Details will be included in your paper invitation. Please RSVP by April 1, 2027.
